Dormitory Conversion
Concost is providing full cost estimating services
including all architectural, mechanical, electrical,
and plumbing for conversion of this manufacturing
building into a new residence hall and a building
addition that would also serve as headquarters
for the Levin Institute.
The building will be converted into 493 two,
three, and four-bed apartment-style suites,
each with a private bath, kitchenette, and dining
area. The suites will have a 100 MB internet
connection for each resident and the units will
be wired for cable television and telephone
service. Accommodations for resident counselors,
cyber and study lounges, laundry and fitness
facilities, and administrative offices will
also be located in the residence hall.
