Mildred Helms Park Restoration

Mildred Helms Park was restored in partnership with the City of Newark, Newark Public Schools, and the Mildred Helms Park Resurrection Committee through the Trust for Public Land's Parks for People program. The ten-year-old playground was built by TPL to help address the critical need for safe, accessible places for children to play in Newark.

ConCost was responsible for Cost Estimating and Construction Inspection services. Work included the overall inspection of the project (earthmoving, landscaping, drainage works, site utilities, some structural works, installation of playground equipment, asphalt paving, fencing and other works.
