ConCost Associates is providing full cost estimating services for the renovation of this 290,000 gsf facility to house state-of-the-art laboratory facilities. Full floor renovations to house the following laboratories:
• Bioterrorism and Tuberculosis
• Retrovirology and Immunobiology
• Immunology and Virology
• Microbiology
• Environmental Science
Other special spaces include archival freezers and animal quarters. The project includes a new structure to house an emergency generator and new riser services, complete new HVAC system, fire alarm system and fire protection/sprinkler system, as well as new window fenestration.
This is a phased project with limited swing space. The building must be kept fully functional throughout the course of construction.
