Concost Associates provided full cost estimating services for the Staten Island Fire House which will house the combined services of the Fire Department’s engine and ladder companies and Emergency Medical Services. The facility will give these vital emergency services units a common base of operations. The project combines a garage, or apparatus room, for maintaining fire engines and ambulances, and a group residence. Support facilities wrapping around the apparatus room include dormitory rooms, a generous eat-in kitchen, living and recreation spaces, training rooms and offices.
